“NJ STEM Enterprises and Alliances showcase”

This year NJ Academy of Science has partnered with the NJ Department of Labor and Workforce development, to assist in establishing a hub for STEM business leaders to collaborate with public partners in resolving workforce, economic and education challenges impacting New Jersey’s industries. As part of this initiative, NJAS has developed a new session into its annual meeting called, “NJ STEM Enterprises and Alliances showcase”, welcoming all enterprises to share their mission goals in the STEM sector, and to have a space in our meeting to be able to share their success, products, internships, and programs with our community. The New Jersey Academy of Science (NJAS) is one of the longest science organizations based in NJ. Over the past sixty-eight years, the NJ Academy of Science annual meeting has grown into a widely anticipated career and research forum among the scientific community in the Tri-State area. We strongly believe this event will impact your business recognition in our state and most importantly develop a network with our organization. Participants include faculty, postdocs, undergraduate, teachers, parents and high school students from all over NJ. This event is the science hub event of the year where NJ science elite individuals are located in one place. The higher education academic institutions' that share their scientific contributions include Rutgers University, Princeton University, William Paterson University, Caldwell University, Kean University, Saint Peter’s University, NJIT, Montclair State University, and many more. Similarly the K-12 high school students and teachers from all over the state join us, about 80-100 students will compete to attend the 2024 AJAS/NAAS and AAAS annual meeting, only first and second place winners serve as NJ delegates at the national level. The high schools represented in the past years include Bergen County Academies, Tenafly HS, Academy for Mathematics, Science, and Engineering, Chatham High School, Colonia High School, High Technology High School, Hillsborough High School, Holmdel High School, Jose Marti STEM Academy, Manalapan High School - Science & Engineering Academy, Marine Academy of Technology and Environmental Science, Old Bridge High School, Palisades Park High School, Toms River High School North, The Pingry School, Academies at Englewood, Bard HS Early college, The Lawrenceville School, Pequannock Township High School, Old Bridge High School, John P. Steven High School, Biotechnology High School, and many more. Participants at this event are the top brightest young minds representing NJ. Last year, there were over 180 registered attendees and we anticipate our growth to continue this year. To fulfill our expectation of another successful annual meeting, we are determined to bring a wide range of seminars, poster showcases, a vendor show and many other activities to engage our participants. This symposium is a day-long activity that directs important topics that are of interest to future and current scientists in our community. This is a career development symposium that aids scientists find their niche in the scientific community. Registration for this event is free for non-profit organizations and with a small nominal fee for higher education institutions, STEM enterprises, and governmental officers can join us. As a STEM Enterprises and Alliances showcase registrants, your company logo and information will be showcased at the NJ Academy of Science website and the event booklet, a standard trade show table (72″ length x 30″ height and width) and 2 chairs will be reserved for your company, your company representative can serve as an NJAS judge (If desired), a complimentary breakfast and lunch will be served, your information will be recorded by NJAS for future business opportunities, and a NJ Academy of Science certificate of appreciation for your company. At the event, there will be prizes for the NJAS annual meeting attendees who visit the STEM Enterprises and Alliances showcase, in this way we can increase traffic to your information booths. The Junior Academy poster session will be localized near the STEM Enterprises and Alliances showcase to enhance more traffic to the showcase. Please support NJAS initiative to create an open venue for all NJ STEM enterprises. Registration Types: Non-Profit Organization - NJAS is providing you the platform with no cost! Organization representatives must serve as NJAS judges at the event. Academic Institutions - Admission cost is $50, If you would like to recruit stellar STEM candidates - this is the right place for you!. STEM Enterprises or (General) - Admission cost is $100 and a chance to reach the NJ STEM leaders of today & tomorrow State & Federal Offices - Admission cost is $100, If you would like to inform about state and federal programs for STEM organizations and individuals, this is the right place for you!.
